Newbridge Arts Trail (NAT) is an event held annually to promote visual arts in the Newbridge district of Bath. Artists and makers show their work in their own homes, studios or communal venues, inviting the public to visit during the course of a weekend.
The trail has several aims, with benefits for visitors and exhibitors: -increase awareness of the quality and diversity of art created in our area -provide an opportunity for the public to meet artists in their work environments -offer an insight into the artists’ work and processes -inspire visitors to start or resume a creative activity -offer original work for sale at affordable prices -showcase and gain feedback for artists on current work and new directions -provide a vehicle for artists to exhibit and sell their work - bring together artists, makers, students, public, schools and businesses in a community event
