MT welcomed everyone to the meeting and asked everyone to introduce themselves. MT said the Feb meeting was usually the one to remind everyone regarding the looming deadline for sending in submission forms and images and paying fees. However tonight was the deadline date and he was very pleased to confirm that nearly 100% of submission forms and images had been received. He thanked everyone for making a fantastic effort and that work could now commence on the design of the flyer and posters.
There will be 42 participants in this years Trail (15 of which are new this year) across 24 venues. (These figures have been updated since the meeting).
MT reminded everyone of the coming critical dates:
1-28 Mar - Flyer and poster design. Then sent to printers 18 Apr - Next general meeting - Flyers, posters, balloons, banners will be distributed 11 May - Pre Trail Party 12-13 May NAT weekend
MT said the website was completely updated and encouraged everyone to view the new pages and see what was new in the Trail.
Publicity: AH gave an update Bath Magazine will publish a preview of the May trails in April issue, and a double-page feature in May to complement the Bath Open Studios advertisement. VisitBath, the Tourist Office website, is creating a page for Bath Open Studios, linked to individual pages for each trail. Coming soon. Bath 360°, What's On (website) features a page on the Newbridge Arts Trail. http://www.bath360.co.uk/whats-on/newbridge-arts-trail Nearer the time - expect listings in Bath Life, Bath Chronicle and on various events and arts websites.
Finance & Sponsorship: AW said he would provide a comprehensive financial update at the next meeting. But asked for any outstanding fees to be paid promptly.
Twitter & Flyers: LW asked everybody to visit the NAT Twitter and Instagram sites and retweet / like the items posted. She also said she would be managing the distribution of flyers in the April meeting. If anyone could not attend the meeting could they arrange for another person to collect their flyers or let Lisa know so she could make arrangements for collection on an alternative day.
AOB: MT said he recognised that some people had struggled with the 'Submission Form' and he would review it and see if any changes could be made to make it easier to use.

MT welcomed everyone to the meeting. He said it was great to have such a good turn out with a mixture of familiar and new faces. The purpose of the meeting was to share information about the Trail, but also a good opportunity for people to meet and talk. MT invited everyone to introduce themselves and share their primary medium.
MT said he was very pleased there were no changes to the committee from last year and confirmed Myrddin Wooding had agreed to manage the flyer. MT confirmed the website had been updated and a 'submission' form link could be found on the home page as well as the 'News' page.
MT stated there are basically three types of venue, home venue, shared home venue and group/multiple venue (Fairfield House, Frontier Frames, Methodist Church Hall & Newbridge Primary School). To support the footfall to home and shared home venues, the committee felt it appropriate to reduce the number of group venues and so this year Bath Artist Studios would not be used. To help us find appropriate venues for those who need to share, the online submission form includes space for participants to request a shared venue or to offer to share their homes. It will be helpful if you give as much detail as possible about your requirements or the space you have available to share, so we can match needs to offers. MT said he would manage the website and Instagram account as per the previous year and asked the committee members to provide an update.
Publicity: AH said the first article to appear will be in 'What's on in Weston & Newbridge' Mar-Jun issue. Articles and Trail listings were planned for other publications and websites. AH asked that anyone who planned to undertake workshops to let her know in order that she could include details in any publicity and in the flyer. Finance and Sponsorship: AW said the Trail bank account had a healthy balance and therefore the Participation Fees will remain at £20 per person. 11 x sponsors were being sought to advertise on the flyer for £50 per advert. Twitter/Flyers: LW said Twitter and Instagram are accessible from the website pages and asked participants to share as widely as possible. 10,000 Flyers will be printed again this year and participating artists would be expected to help with the distribution.
